Hid assembly and SRI or CAI?

i have an '04 RA. what HID assembly and intake would be best for the budget-minded timing belt shredder?

i wanna get 6000k's and a non-ricey assembly, and i'm kinda leaning toward SRI, but i know next to nothing. and k&n injen or aem?

help please?

If you go with cia, be sure to put on the bypass valve so you won't get hydrolock!

its been said over and over again.. intakes all give similar output. I have the aem sri and I'm happy with it.. a heat shield would be a good idea too.

again. intakes are basically all the same... its all about whatever one you think makes the cooler sound or whatever name brand you like... read the thread about cai vs sri for more information

for hids. its either retrofit some projectors, get ebay projectors or depo projectors. if you want hids in your stock housings then you better be prepared to probably get pulled over

^ the K&N drop in filter that I had made a vibrating noise when accelerating through 2200 rpms or so. Was as annoying as **** on a doorknob.

Do you have a manual trans? If so, I have an AEM cia w/bypass valve that I'd be interested in trading for your stock air flow equip.

As for the cutting (the install of the bypass valve) the directions include a piece of paper that you tape on the bottom part of the tube, and you just cut it right off. I think it was around an inch, maybe a little more-but not a lot! Mind you, the cutting was the hardest part. Everything else was cake!
