Okay. Two things:

1) As for cleaning my engine bay, i should just cover up the alt, battery, fusebox, and aftermarket electronics (SRI/MAF and HID wiring) then hose it down, scrub, blah blah blah. I also read that Simple Green is a good degreaser?

2) Lanzer, i have killed the on-topicness of this thread. Maybe a title change to "Questions from NashvilleRA." Just brainstorming.

I agree with the name change lol

whenever I wash my engine I only cover up the air filter and the alternator. I've done it multiple times without issues. When i was running HID's i covered the ballasts as well...not sure if they need to be though. I use this product....one cleaning session takes the whole can...

After it's dry I dress the hoses with Back to Black

Good idea.

On-topic: I have decided to move the majority of conversations from your S&S thread to here; no need to hijack your thread, so...
There's a nice RA in the TG S&S with black rims/red lip. I actually dig that look on his car, and I like this style of wheel. Maybe I could pair these with a red VG?

Try doing a photoshop first and see if you like the look of it. Find a person w/ a TG RA and a VG and have the wheels photoshopped on with the VG changed

Damn, I dunno how I managed to miss these posts.
But I do like the look of the wheels. Maybe with an unpainted VG, it would be cheaper anyway. I would still feel like I'm trying to stealth a gray car, although the black on TG look is growing on me as I look through the S&S thread.
