Paint Color
my dad hit my RA while it was sitting in the driveway. (i dont see how)
luckily it will be covered by insurance, and i was wondering if you guys think i should keep the Thunder Gray or get a nice colorful color if its not too expensive and wont look too awfully custom.
im going to get an estimate tuesday, so the idea of a new paintjob is just a speculation.
black, white, and BBY are a no-go. and most reds too, unless you can find a good one that wont draw cops like flies.
purple? yellow?

You kidding me purple? LOL! Haha....
Yellow!?!?
Ahhh.....nooo!
I go with something less attention, let along a girly color. \:
Maybe something Grey, white, or something with a nice pearl color.

I've always liked the thunder gray, if they'd had one in that color I would have had to flip a coin to decide between that and labrador black pearl.
Of course, if they'd had one in BBY (not available on the RA, I know), it'd have to be several coin tosses to decide a winner.
As it was, it was either black or yellow. No contest there.

now i just need to see if the auto body place can get it for cheap enough.
a new color isnt a priority right now, but if it isnt too expensive, i think i can make an exception

my car is black but when looked at, at a certain angle it has a really dark blue pearl shade to it. it looks really good in person. maybe you could do something like that but with a red shade?

i will definitely keep it in mind for the future though.
great minds think alike, rrd.
it needs sanding anyway, new color or not. it has lots of little chips and bad spots in the paint currently, previous owner drove it for 164k mi and i guess there were lots of little pebbles and stuff, and voila, you have my car's paint. and its rusting in some spots. (tiny spots, but they need sanding to put my mind at ease)
