I think there were two primary issues.
1. TOB
2. Pressure plate. It seems their HD pressure plate is just to strenuous on the stock hydraulic system, and causing premature failure.

Update

Ok, I just got off the phone with clutchmasters. I called the number on there website and now I'm really confused. The guy in the parts department told me the flywheel part number for 2006 Lancer Ralliart is FW-045-AL. I cant find anything with that part number. I think im just gonna order the one for the 4g69 eclipse.

I also called clutchflywheel.com and they said they have nothing with FW-045-AL. They told me the fadanza flywheel part number is for the ralliart, eclipse and outlander with the 4g69. But the clutchmasters one says FW-103-AL is just for the eclipse 4g69. The FW-0103-AL is for the ralliart, probe, and mazda 626 because they are all 2.4l. I tried to explain that the 06-08 eclipse had the EXACT same motor and trans, but he said i should still order FW-0103-AL because the probe and 626 have a 2.4l also. I think i'll just order the one for the 4g69 eclipse. I highly doubt the one for the probe and 626 will fit the ralliart. Just cause they are a 2.4l also doesnt mean anything. Why wouldn't the eclipse be in that catagory to?

The Fidanza flywheel will work just fine. It's the lightest of flywheels available for the RA. I think there was an issue where it wasn't fitting correctly with the stock clutch, but I can't confirm that 100%.

I figured i would get the clutchmasters one just because i've already ordered my clutchmasters clutch. That and I've heard about problems with the fidanza one.

I checked my shed, I dont have the box or part number for the CM flywheel. Sorry guys. I installed that bad boy like 4-5 years. than i took it out and took a few pounds off of it 3 years ago. than six months they balanced it along with the rest of the rotation assembly. So even if you needed stock measurements i couldnt help you Sorry guys.

Should also add this. When i first did my transmission work. I got the CM flywheel and clutch. stage 1. Burnt the crap outta that clutch. So I got an ACT stage 3. i highly recommend paying the extra 30-50 dollars and get the ACT. obviously works with the CM flywheel, cuz thats my setup now. It will last longer and grab so much better. And if your going to ask "how is the stage 3 for a daily driver" I had it for 2 years before the motor blew. daily driver, and used it for a job. Heres how you fix the stage 3 clutch/daily driver problem. Man up. lol. My Ex GF could drive it. and race it pretty decent too.

How were you driving with the CM clutch and fly stage 1 and with what mods?

Probes GT's and MX-6's had a 2.5L V6 (KL-ZE) and base model had 2.0L 4cyl (FS-DE).

Engine size DOES NOT influence directly clutch choice. It's mainly clutch diameter, torque capacity, spline count, etc...

TL;DR :

It is possible that the same clutch goes in an MX-6/PGT and in a RA...

I think I'll just order the one for the 06 eclipse.

RA on LSD, how was fitment with the clutchmasters flywheel? Any issues like the fidanza one? Also whats your input on it, was it worth the money or not?
