just realized something .. there has never been any frame damage on this car.. and on the carfax the part where it says.. accident/damage.. doesn't necessarily mean it was just an accident.. and the people at the dealership did only say the roof is damaged from hail.. i might still be in good condition here.

 

You seem to be jumping the gun on this one man. Just take your time and don't get yourself screwed over by a dealership in a different state. Once you have an issue its not like you can go drive down and tell them off

 

That, and take it to a different shop for inspection.

 

trust i know.. . but after looking for a few months and you think you find a legitament deal things get busty

did you decide on an RA...i had my RA when this thread started and got my SI a week ago lol. The SI is awesome...a lot of companies have quality parts out there....yeah there's a lot of crap on ebay, but a lot of real quality stuff as well....lots of turbo/sc options.

I'd say the only reason to get an RA would be to drive something a little more unique. If you get the right cosmetic stuff, the RA's can look amazing. I miss the look sometimes...and if you're going to go with a turbo on an si, then you'll be pretty much paying the same as an RA...regular maintenance parts will generally be cheaper though.

And i've actually only seen 3 other SI's in the past week...thought it would be more lol.

but then again...for some reason i still come back to evom just to look at all the new RA threads hahaha

 

Damn tight story anton. And i actually just bought a 99 explorer off my MFin GMA! For 1500 only she straight hooked me up.. And i just bought a sickkkkkkkkkkkk *** system i'm getting installed tomorrow this thing is going to bump.. i bought this thing strictly as a toy for now while i still look for a RA. So yes I've decided to go Ra.. They are too damn underground.. for me not to get one. I've only seen ONE over the past couple of months i've been trying to spot them on the road.
