i would say a Sentra SER specV, but they got a 6 speed, and optional LSD...

so in some ways they are better, but performance is on par.

^ Not too sure how the newer ones are compared to the previous gen but I've heard they drive fairly similar, not sure if I'm too keen on the newer styling

Driving an (02-06) spec-v is fairly similar to driving a ralliart, except their variable valve timing (VVTC?) and secondary IM valves wake up at around 5500-6000rpm, and the effect is 5x louder in the cabin.

My twin brother owns an 04 spec-v (now with a hotshot header, SRI and magnaflow exhaust), spirited driving in the past proved the 6 speed's gearing had no real advantage until I ran out of gears.. the RA took it by a car length (SRI vs rrm UDP and SRI), if these two are challenged essentially it's all driver.

...$323 a month, plates should be $121/mo but it's $90/mo cause I'm a deadly driver.

*****! That's a bunch of cash a month and painful. Both of our cars are paid off, 2006 Outlander and 2004 RA. It sure is nice not to have a car payment. I'm holding onto my car until probably the end of 2012.

Lots of choices out there in the AWD range. I drove my buddy's 2012 AWD Hemi Charger the other day, took that **** for a beat down ride -- love that V8, tempting but it drinks fuel like crazy.

Car payments suck in general.

Good luck Doc, hope things turn around for you.

Yeah insurance rates change depending on location, vehicle, driving history, age, sex, and I'm sure a ton of other statistics, when I first moved my insurance company wanted to bump my rates by over 1000 bucks a year for 3 cars with full coverage, after a little shopping I found it for just about the sane as before..... Shop around....

i dont know what do do w/ it anymore..its just turning into a money pit...

2 yers in on it and got $200/mo payments and $150/mo insurance...luckily its not on my name...lol..it's on my fiance's mom's name...and she's had a clean record forever(so have i tho...but at 25 and male...they wanted like $300 for me...so we decided to use her who was cheaper...lol)

the thing that SUCKS is anywhere ive tried to go take it as trade just looking they say $3-3.5k....and i still owe like $4k...grrr

You got me beat, if you mean it's lower. Worst part is my ES is another 150$ to insure, but it's paid for, thank god. The wife is a stay at home mom, so my bank balance is consistently depressing.

I pay $120/month for two vehicles (RA and Equinox); we use Allstate. That said, I paid much more just for my vehicle prior to getting married though.

When I bought mine, I was paying $133/mo for insurance and $350/mo car payment. Was supposed to be a 5-year loan, but I paid it off in 3-1/2 years. Wife's car, my car, the VW Bus, and all four of our motorcycles are paid for. Insurance on everything is about $200/mo.
