^i looked at a 2 door 06 vw rabbit MT near here for sale, but somehow insurance actually wants MORE for it than the RA($300+/mo...must be the 2 door part...)...so i had to abandon the idea...but payments would be about the same as they are now($250 range)...it had only 34k on it too...i got so angry that i couldnt get it..

already had decent looking "larger" wheels(17" instead of 15") and tinted windows on it...looked prettty nice...needed a bit of work tho...(most free to me tho...)

Ya after alittle research I found out the newer your car the more expensive becouse it costs more to repair, 2 door is considered sport car so that costs more, and convertible is more due to the fact that you'll get seriously injured if your convertible happens to roll if not die. That's y if I do make a another purchase I'm just going with a mid size 4 door sedan that's not to bad on gas. Once I'm older maybe 35 an up ill start hardcore moddin a sports car maybe the evo cause still has 4 seats, can fit family on joy rides

Payments : 163$/mo
Insurance : 73$/mo

Got the RA almost 2 years ago, I was 24 at the time. Age don't mean that much for insurance quotes. My insurance dropped by like 80 cents/month when I turned 25. It's driver experience. (8+ years, w/o any claim). At least that's what my insurer told me.

That's how much my insurance is ($72/month). I still want to sell and have a cheaper payment.

Just checking back in. I still lurk on the site, and I still own my 04 Sportback.

I file for bankruptcy in a couple of weeks, and will close the doors on my veterinary practice for good at the end of the month.

I don't know if I'll get to keep the lancer. That will be up to the bankruptcy trustee.

Wish me luck.

I recently purchased my '05 Ralliart for $5800 and the payments are 280 a month over a 2 year term with 171 a month for insurance. That's full coverage and 3 million liability, can never be too safe ;P

I'm so stoked on this car, it's so much fun to drive and much more reliable then my previous car, a 1977 Datsun 280z.

I'm only 25 as well but this Lancer is the most expensive insurance I've paid; 150 for the Datsun and 161 for my Toyota pickup.
