Hmm, I'm pretty sure that I always fill it to the brim and when gas gets on the snout of the tank, I wipe it off with some paper towels lol. I always fill it up all the way. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong here. The most I got @ 3/4 tank is 150+/- That is low compared to everyone else's numbers...

i know for most jaguars, the sock filter is replaceable, because everytime a fuel pump goes out we replace the pump and sock as 2 different parts(the pump housing in the tank and float are actually 2 other separate parts)...im honestly not sure in other cars, but i couldnt see how it's not replaceable...it's gotta be replaceable somehow i'd think

i've never seen any fuel pumps not have a sock filter...(even with a inline filter)...unless it's an inline fuel pump...but then it'd be pointless to have a sock filter as the pump is not in the tank...
i know my dad's car actually has 3 different fuel filters...the pump sock, a regular inline filter and at the connection from the fuel pump to the fuel line leaving the tank, theres what they call a cone filter(a little mesh cone inside the fuel line)...only the inline filter is considered serviceable tho..

i don't really know how, since there's a pump sock, but it can sill pass stuff thru the fuel pump to the inline filter
and if it's time to replace the inline filter, it always has all sorts of gunk and debris in it...it looks like runny mud if it's way overdue(if u've never seen it, it's not a pleasant sight)

UPDATE: I cleared the P0441 code again yesterday, around 4:00 PM, and it hasn't come on since. Hopefully it never comes back on but if it does, what should I do? Does it need attention right away? Would it cause any mechanical issues later on? Basically what I'm trying to get at is would I need to get it fixed now or is it a minor issue? I really hope this isn't a problem that might lead to any mechanical/electrical failure in the future

it shouldnt cause any issues except maybe make you go through more gas...and thats only maybe...you should be fine...the worst thing that can happen is it'll throw off your AFR but only slightly
if you're required to go through inspection every so often you may not pass(dont know if canada req's it or not..i know most US states do...mine's not one of them tho)

no prob man
speaking of going to toronto...lol
i may be going for work training soon to missisauga...(in a month or 2...unles they send me to new jersey or georgia instead)
i went last year (i think around november)..
but i got a free rental car and gas through work...(instead of my car)...
training was thursday and friday, so i took my wife with me and we spent friday night, saturday and sunday morning in toronto...then drove back to detroit sunday afternoon...

if it wasn't a 5+ hr drive, i'd go just for the heck of it...lol

maybe this time i'll take the RA and then spend all sunday driving around piling on the miles on the rental...lol

i am here for work, just me and 3 other co-workers, me and my room mate rented a 2013 V6 mustang, compliments of DND. that was the best we could get, our allowance doesn't cover "premium" vehicles, i.e. V8 sports cars, and luxury sedans...

nekkidlad, come for a track day this summer, BBQ at my place...
