I paid $17,850 for mine. Sun and sound package and they paid off my eclipse. The sticker for it said $21900, but after a week of chewing them down and leaving a few times I finally got them down. They even gave me the sob story about " I hope we can get out of the eclipse what we paid you for it". Yeah whatever!

A WRX starts at 34k Canadian.
27k for all that stuff ain't too bad. Add another 7000 CDN and there's the WRX.
Oh, don't forget the premium gas prices ($$$$$) and the insurance payments ($$$$$$).
As much as I'd dump another 7k to get a WRX, it's just SO expensive to keep. Especially when discounts are small and rates are high.

27k for a Lancer... hmm... is that with taxes too?

Well that's not bad compared to what I'd be paying for mine...notice how I said that it was gonna cost me ~$550/month(can't remeber the exact amount), well I thought that was for 72 whihc would've been reasonable being that 28500(out the door) for the car + the 6000 loss on the trade = ~35,000 and over 72 would be $39,600, but turns out that's over 84...that's $46200...now I love the RA, but no way can I justify paying that for it...plus another $270/month for insurance...It's not even the price of the car, nor the options I put on there, it's the fact that I'm getting screwed on the trade whereever I go...that and look at the numbers I don't think they're actually giving me the $9500 for my trade like they said...b/c I've worked out $36,000 at the int. rate over 72 motnhs and it works out to $530/month...but now it's too late to really do anything besides say yes or no b/c the deal is in the finance office being looked at...guess that's why they rush you in so fast...so that you don't notice that your being f'd in the *** untill you're out the door and gone...and I can't go to a different dealer b/c already tried the other one it town and they were even worse to deal with...unless I wanted to drive 2 hrs to Calgary, but then what's to say it would be worth it...

...apparently my only hope for a reasonable payment and reasonable term would be to get rear-ended in the Saturn so that it's written off, but not my fault so that my insurance doesn't get completely insane...but then that means lossing my perfect record of 4 yrs no accidents, no tickets...yargh....

"Oh Lord, Why do you mock me so?"

the even worse part is that either I take the hit now, or it's only gonna get worse b/c down the raod in 6 motnhs or a year the car's gonna worth even less...I knew I shouldn't have gotten the Saturn.

Cool

Unfortunatley I bought mine in October when they first hit the lots. So I missed out on all the smoking deals. At least they paid off my trade-in. The payments suck, but I forget all about them when I am driveng

I just paid $19.1k for a Sportback RA, about $400 over invoice. I was trying to get them down to $19k even, and started walking out, so they removed the $200 Dealer Locate charge and threw in wheel locks. Overall, I'm happy with what I got which was closer to invice than sticker. After TTL, it's about $20.2k and I'm pending 1.9% 72 month financing, which shouldn't be an issue.

Well right now I"m sitting at 15,500 that comes from $2000 military discount and $1000 I want the damn car discount (So far) The sticker on the car says 21 but he started me at 18,500. They are also going to pay off my jeep at $2000 over book value. Ontop of that I plan on going back this week telling them that I can get a mazda 6 w/ the 200 and whatever for a good deal so thanks but no thanks...I'm sure that'll knock some $$$$ off it. No sun and sound package though..I don't like sunroofs...Anyhow I"ll post once the deal finishes.
