This killed me when I read it man! That's some crazy coincidence huh. I'm going to clean my EGR valve soon. I'm also looking into buying an adapter from eBay this week. Wanna help me look for one that's worth buying? I want a BT adapter that I can connect to my phone.

i literally bought the cheapest one with free shipping...

i cleaned my EGR valve when i rebuilt the head...i don't know what the f is up with it...if i can pass emission testing without it, i'll just get hackish to remove the code permanently or something...i don't know...it started happening after i put the turbo in, but it could just be the connector, cause i disconnected all the sensors and stuff when i put the bigger injectors in, then again it could just be boost pressure pushing the exhaust gas back out...i should just unplug the damn thing...

 

Same here, that ELM327 has been invaluable in clearing codes, I am asked at least once a week,to clear codes for friends.
