Car stalls when AC is on

Car stalls when AC is on
Okay well I noticed if I start the car while my AC is on (setting 1) if I go to neutral it will stall. But after 10 mins or so I can turn it on full blast and no negative effects. I understand that the car may need to warm up etc. but for it to stall, that can't be normal... Or maybe it is

I just started getting the same problem. The car drives normal and when I turn my AC on the idle starts to flutter and then stalls.
I have 2010 GSR only 9090 miles on it got a Cobb test pipe, Greddy exhaust, Cobb intake and turbo inlet with a stage 2 program and a defi boost gauge.
I rarely drive it, can it be the battery or do I need a new IAC? I didn't have this problem before until the beginning of this year.

Also, Where and how do I check my IAC on my car? Is there a How To for that.
I really love my car but if this keeps happening I'm going to have to sell it and I barely got a chance to really drive it hard.

It didn't work the first time when I pulled the battery, but I only left it off for about 1 minute. Should I have left if off longer?
I'm going to try to download a new map from Cobb and hope that resets everything. Nothing worked I tried updating the ECU and took the battery off for about 10 minutes and nothing is working.
But here's the thing, I went through the same issue during winter when turning just my heater on during cold weather. It doesn't happen right away only after I drive it for awhile.
Any other suggestions? I read in other forums that it can be the IAC valve but I've checked online and there are no valves for my year but then there are other people say that it can be the alternator and battery can it also be the MAF sensor?

I just realized you have an X. I'm not scooting you away or anything but start a thread about this on the Evo X sub-forum on this site. Also, idk if you're equipped to, but send over your tuning file (rom) to a remote tuner, Tom at TSCOMP etc. and they can see if something is up in regards to a tune. Or they might even just fix it with a tune.

Hey Mark, thanks for the advice. I figured out what was wrong and I'm getting it corrected. I'm waiting for a Heat shield to come in. The idle and stalling was due to the AC fan blowing hot air into my intake since I have a open cone filter. I tested it out by put something in front to block the hot air blowing in to the intake and then I removed it and the engine stalled. So I'm getting a cheap heat shield from Summit racing.
