Battery relocation

I am in the process of starting my battery relocation project. My plan is to run the cable through conduit along the underside of the car. I want to center the battery if possible. I have not found the location in the trunk that I like yet. I am trying to decide what gauge of cable to run. Since it is at least 10 feet I will be using, I wonder if going to a bigger size would benefit. This hopefully will take place within two weeks or so. Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated.

length is irrelevent, and though gauge of wire is important, you don't need a lower gauge (larger diameter) wire. the same size as stock will be fine...
