Car running rich

So been a long time on here with any kind of issue, usually pop on to say hello I recently found an E-Free station and filled up. Except now if I go WoT my car runs extremely rich. It will get up to 10.0 and only at maybe 4,500 rpms. The richness is probably dangerous to run like that. Maybe a simple ECU reset will fix it?

Have you pulled the spark plugs and checked them out?

and on 91 or 93 your AFR's were good? try resetting the ECU and do the whole idle thing, and then go for a drive, the ECU might be relearning the fuel trims cause you changed the octane of the fuel...

I have not pulled the plugs yet, guess I'll do that and take a look. On ethanol free gas I was fine. If I was WoT it would get up to maybe 11.5 by 6,500rpms. With the E-Free it gets super rich fast! The acceleration died off then and felt a little funny, so I dont get on it at the moment.

Also I didnt change octanes, I have a station nearby with e-free 93 about 10cents more. I know I used to get better gas mileage with it, before the other station went out of business.

What am I missing here? Please tell us the difference between e-free 93 and ethanol free.

haha sorry, e-free is just Ethanol Free gas. I guess this is what I get for not proofreading

93 is the octane that I get.

Yea I had hackish tune for 93 on my car way back when, and have used 93 ever since. The only thing that is different is that the gas is now Ethanol Free.

I have used Ethanol Free also before I had an AFR, but that was also when I had like V1 of the tune and it wasn't working correctly anyways. But I knew I got almost +5 mpg using ethanol free, so when the station went out of business I was disappointed.

Still have yet to pull my plugs, but did reset the ECU. Too windy outside at the moment 30+ mph winds going.

when i had my N/A tune from hackish, i don't think my AFR ever went below 12.8...even at WOT it usually stayed in the 13's
