Electronic Rust Protection

hey guys, so my mom has an 04 vibe that she bought new with an electronic rust protector module on it, it seems to work since there is not a spec of rust on the body and its been winter driven since new. Also the science behined it makes sense.

Im wondering if anyone is using one here and if so which brand adn do you recommend it?

Im looking for one that i could buy install and then move to a diffrent car in the future without to much hassel.

This is the first ive seen so far http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ462755982

?? i dont understand this comment??, are you saying that you dont believe it works?.

From what i remember from chemistry class rust is formed when salt sits on bare metal and a transfer/flow of ions ((or electrons or some partical i dont remember which)) occurs ((like an electrical current)) between the salt and the metal forming rust in the metal. This unit essential reverses the flow of ion transfer so its not possible for the rust to form in the metal

yeah as soon as you said mazda i was thinking it wont make a difference. But my moms vibe from 2004 has it and the body is 100% clean, under body is typical rust and things but the body is mint and its been daily winter driven ever since new. never undercoated either
