Hey guys a question for anyone that has some answers. The wife wrecked her 05 Galant two days ago. Honestly the damage is minimal at most. Airbags deployed sadly. But if we salvage the vehicle it would need a new bumper, windshield (due to the passanger airbag), airbags/dash and 3 seat belts.

Where would I acquire most of these parts? She really loved the Galant haha, so she wants to try and keep it if she can. Also everyone in the accident was fine The Minivan she rear ended only had a minimal dent on the hatch.

IIRC insurance sompanies won't insure salvaged titles...tho i could be wrong

if it were me i'd save me the hassle and buy another galant...hopefully with less mileage

 

Thanks guys for the input. She decided against rebuilding it. And went with a vehicle with 3rd row seating. Picked up a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. Pics to come...

Since her dad owns a shop, he bought the vehicle from us and is going to rebuild and sell. With insurances, we just switched to progressive and they allow rebuilt cars. Oh and the Galant had 90k miles haha. Not too bad for an 05.
