2300 just labor to fix and install everything back together...

he will be fixing dents and scratches on the pistons, install all new valves, install timing belt kit, change water pump, flush coolant/radiator, and i will be providing all the parts...is the website mitsubishiparts.net? Thats where im looking pretty good prices on the valves!

So all in all im looking at spending almost $3,000??

I might aswell. He makes it sound like it will be a new engine, they are a well known shop.

Will update tmrw.

for $3,000 you could pretty much have a fully built motor put together...

I've asked around and wow they charge crazy high for a rebuild =/.. So whatever i went ahead and ordered new intake and exhaust valves along with other needed parts, btw i guess its easier that the engine is kind of apart, im planning to order and get the RRM motor mounts installed? I dun mind the vibration will it be good for the car in the long rub its kinda my DD ride..

Still waiting for my parts to come in..dang i miss driving my car haha..

well, you're only taking the head off, the rear mount is still a pain in the *** to replace...and the vibration caused by solid mounts will eventually cause various interior trim panels, and loose change to "buzz". other than that it won't hurt the car. Girls seem to like it...

This. I have a solid front and back motor mount its not even noticeable till your sitting at a red light. I also added an enclosed bass box under the passenger seat for added effect.

Haha well i went right ahead and ordered them from RRM. I dont like how my car would wheel hop, i didnt notice if it stopped or not when i installed my coilovers, this should be a nice add on =D.

I will take video and pics of my car when its finally up and running. Thanks again.

it's really hard to get rid of wheel hop...are your coilovers damper adjustable? if you're launching it hard, stiffen the front end right up. the mounts will help for sure.

I think they are on street settings, its the megan coilovers they are stiff and feels hard when hitting bumps, the car kinda hugs the road but it did improve handling which is what i was looking for.

Does it take a few days for ur order to go through at mitsubishiparts? Been 4 days now...

it can take a while, especially shipping to Canada...I use JNZ Tuning...they seem to process faster, and they used USPS instead of UPS, plus I don't think Russell M is running the show at mitsubishiparts.net anymore, the website changed a lot.
