Not the Lancer, but other cars, too much money going into the Fiero. I would really like to build the Lancer, I am starting to save for a CT9W GT-A, only 6-7 more years...fingers crossed the import rules don't change...

I suppose to be on-topic, to increase performance, start with tires and suspension. Then work on the motor.

what does the evo wagon go for these days? would you leave the steering wheel on the right? I'm in the same boat, except I haven't started saving too good yet, the lancer (boat and house) is a bit of a money pit...my Evo VII RS-2 is legal for import as of 2016

I use the auction site on Brave Auto, the latest CT9W on the block is starting at just under 300,000¥ or about $3,000 cdn, that's for the less desirable automatic 5-speed. I think would bid as high as $8,000-$10,000 for a clean car with less than 100,000 kms.

I would consider switching it to LHD, I have all of the interior parts to do the transformation, the cradle and steering rack would be something that I would have to research. I'm sure all of the components can be had.

Type CT9W Year 2006 Scores 4.5 Start price 280 000¥

Mileage, km. 81 000
Transmission FA
Displacement 2000
Result available
Color SILVER
Equipment AAC AW PS PW

Still can't believe RRM charges 4K+ for a kit built around a sketchy 5th injector, no real tune (crappy piggy back) and a knockoff turbo... wow!

Youd think they would have revisited that by now and figured out that there is a better solution that even they could market...
