Well like the title says what do you guys think? I know we would be able to use a couple things turbo, wastegate, bov, intercooler maybe some of the piping? Whats your take?

I wouldn't trust it at all unless the parts are made by a decent manufacture would be better off spending the money to get parts from a trusted source.

turbo: no. it isn't something you want to skimp on, IMO. unless you like swapping them out. plus, cheap ones would probably end up costing more in the long run.
IC piping: should be okay, as long as there are no crush bends.
couplings: no, because they are probably rubber and will expand under pressure, especially when warm.
intercooler: no way. the FMIC needs to be efficient to be effective. a cheap one is a waste of money as they usually flow poorly and don't disperse heat very well.
wastegate: absolutely not. if the WG fails, your engine goes boom.

stick with OEM if you can't buy good parts. use the ebay money for a good tune (see my sig). it's just not worth it.

I wanted to do it a while ago. As far as I see it you could always rebuild the cheap turbo with quality parts which is cheaper than buying the real thing. I've read alot about the ebay intercoolers and I have yet to see any complaints about them. The wastegate isn't really something to worry about hackish has a failsafe on his reflash so it will save your car if it were to break. Its alot cheaper to do on the spot if your on a tight budget and then save to fix the small things that wear out.

Beware anyone that tells you ebay turbo kits are safe.
Not even the Honda guys use them.

Lots of Honda guys use them...I've seen a few of them in person...from what I've seen, they don't last too long...but I've also seen a $1,500 FP turbo tear itself apart in a short time...
