Outer tie rod replacement

Quick question. I had a toast outer tie rod. I decided to change it Im receiving a full suspension kit from rockauto but its only coming in 2 weeks so I decided to go and get a cheap 15$ tie rod to hold me over till then.... Since I changed it its making a weird clunking type noise. When I take off in first gear and let off the gas and the car falls on itself it " dont know how to explain it better than that " it makes a clunking sound and then when I go back on the gas it clunks again and then goes away. I torqued it down as hard as I could with a wrench...any ideas..??

Been checking everywhere... hard to find information. Is it possible that I overtorqued it.?

Clunking noise could be the track control arm bushing or ball joint, the axle, link ... get the car on a jack and check.

the crossmember that goes front to back under the transmission, that the front transmission mount is bolted to, it's also got the front tow loop and center jacking point on it...the main crossmember, or "K frame" is the main one that the rear mount, steering rack and control arms are bolted to...
