Oh, and I don't think it would perform all that great....why?

1) in the computer a temp of -30 would cause at the minimum condensation(if not just frost) and water + electronics = baaaaad
2) the volume and rate of the air flow through your intake will be much greater then through a computer, especially when stomping on the gas....

I'd spend more time trying to adapt an IC, say from the evo or something, then trying to rig up basically a home-made IC. And well whos to say it wouldn't just fit nicely...

 

Here is another idea. Its a bit motivated from watercooling computers (yea, im a nerd).

Use some small flexable copper tubing to wrap around the indate pipe. about 1/2" would be enough. Wrap it in a spiral pattern really tight and either flow water or coolant thorugh it to a pump to a radiator, which is place somewhere with REALLY good airflow (scoop?). You could do this for about $300. In effect, it would take any heat on ur pipe and circulate it out the radiator, and push the new cool fluid back over the intake piping.

The only problem would be the extra room needed to do this. Most intakes are a tight fit as it is. This may really help /w a SRI intake. It would give the ram effect plus the cool effect from a CAI.

Am I making any sense?
