Hey guys,

I'm currently looking for a CAI kit for my 2007 Lancer Sport 2.0 (I'm from the UK and I believe the most similar shape is the 06 Ralliart for US), but can't seem to find any kits specifically made for my car.

It's only my first car and I don't know a lot about modding, my question is what type of CAI should I get? I figured my best bet was to get a hose off eBay (a universal one) then a more expensive K&N filter.

1) Is there much difference between the metal vs flexible (plastic?) piping
2) Do I need a tray for the intake?
3) From the picture of my engine bay, where is the best place to put the filter - what size/length would suit my bay?

Sorry for all the questions, just a noob here trying to learn. I don't really have many options due to the rarity and age of my car! Any advice is much appreciated.
