I wouldnt be sad, there might be an intake in the works, but the HP % gain is almost as good for the 2.4 vs. the 2.0

i have eaten my words in the past but the K&N dyno results seem a little, high for a short ram with basic heat shield

dyno test

Hey EVO SOUL: while on the subject, what is the status of your competition between the different SRI's, vs CAI's that you had planned the end of January but ran into some difficulties? Thanks again for your experience on this forum and committment to the Lancer followers!

Lol every time i plan to do something it always leads me down a path I never thought I would find myself on.

Who knew that a Simple Dyno Day shoot out with two intakes would turn into such a funny result. Although I did have these intakes independantly tested in asia and one about to occur in the usa. I will not be happy until I see these results verified in front of my own eyes. Ideally what I may do is buy a 100% USA Spec ECU from Works or what ever vendor that can provide it to me for this dyno testing. But the fact that our Canadian Car acts funny sure is mystifying.

All that aside, I am very impressed with the two options by AEM and INJEN, both companies have taken the CAI in two different directions in terms of performance and would consider both a worthy buy.

In terms of SRI, I will be testing them but I must clear my plate off first, Things on my plate include

* Administering Over the Toronto Lancer Club

* Prototype testing of two Header options being sent to me one from Japan and the other Singapore

*a) R&D and Prototype Testing of a Turbo Kit for the lancer
b) Beefed up Internals / REbuild kit that has been taken off the drawing boarded and handed to engineers

* INJEN EVO X Test Evaluation (March)

* I have decided to take a look at Fujita's 2nd version intake, there was a fix that has been found and an Ally of mine may work with them if they accept to include in their design. I think they are a little busy with other pressing matters so I will see what happens.

A SRI shoot out is coming but the budget for that is still being formulated. The sale of license plate mounts are directed towards these operations operations. Since my girlfriend says I am not allowed to spend our money doing this hobby stuff lol the leash is still unbroken
