Hello i want to know which is a better set up:

HKS Kansai Air box with 3 inch K&N air filter or an APS Cold Air Intake???

I have the first one but a buddy mention that the cold air intake is better

any dyno numbers???

If 2-3hp matter thats much to you, the APS is probably a better choice. It puts in intake into the front grill for cooler/denser air. But remember it will also get wet from rain or snow coming through the grill. Also, depends which model Evo you have, the APS may not work. Can't remove ACD for IX. For VIII, intercooler spray reservoir needs to be removed. Don't know abotu VIIs.

 

difference will be negligible...there's much better ways to gain power than re-buying an intake.

 

my buddy told me to get an ap cai with a full 3 exhaust + cobb tuning... i want to be sure which one is the best.
