Will a Limited Slip Diff void the warranty?

I was wondering if anyone knew if installing a LImited Slip Diff would void the warranty on the RA?

I'd like to know too! Anyone with an answer???

I'd say they wouldn't void the whole thing but they'd surely not swap the transmission for free if you blew it after installing your LSD...

Who does a good LSD kit for the RA anyway? Is it expensive? I hope they do a simple add-on like for the Focus... but that's probably wishfull thinking. On the Focus, you just open the existing dif and put on the LSD component (dont' remember who sells it) then screw the whole thing back on... and that's it!

Ok...here's the deal. With just about ANY car manufacturer whatever aftermarket part you add on will void the warrenty on the related parts that you are altering. For example, if you put a CAI on your vehicle and you go through a rather large puddle and you hydralock your engine guess what....your screwed. Same thing if you put a LSD in your tranny....if parts of your tranny break b/c of the LSD being there and the dealership can mildly prove it then your SOL.

well then you are cheating the system....and eventually mitsu will start denying warranty claims for genuine problems because people are scamming them. I think if you want to mod your car, then take the responsibility that comes with it.

Actually thats EXACTLY what started happening w/ Acura/Honda.

And yes, it still voids the warrenty. There is no possible way to hydrolock your engine w/ a stock airbock....unless you and da car decide to go swimming....heh
