Injen CAI!!!

Hey guys ... just thought I would let you know that the Injen CAI for the Ralliart is coming this May!! Check their Web-site it's right on the Main page!!

I'm all over this when it comes out!!

Looks like it will replace all the piping to the TB as well. Should be exciting! Can't wait to see dyno numbers on it, though I'm thinking it will be about 11-12 hp...

so if it does make 11-12 hp, which one is better?? rrm or injen, and another question if i change the filter, lets say i'm using rrm piping but i'll use apexi filter, will i make more power?

well, there aren't "official" dyno numbers out yet, so it's anyone's guess. These intakes will probably all perform about the same.

I've heard good things about Apexi filters. Hell, they better be good for what they charge!

11.9 is for the mazda 3 guys.. there is no numbers for ours yet.

I am thinking of making my own anyways, injen or aem is going to cost like $300+ CAD and it's just a pipe

expect about 10 hp to the wheels. I've seen the numbers. See?? Remember when I told you guys about this months ago?!?! I told ya Injen would come through. It's posted in the ralliart general forum somewhere.

11hp is unrealistic imo. companys will post numbers all the time and they will be decieving. the injen will be better than the rrm one bc it will replace more tubing that connects to the TB and so will be smooth and not restrict ait flow with teh ridges in the tubing.

It sucks though because with all the RA intakes we require such a small filter because we don't have much room down there near our fog lights. Most of the other cars come with filters that are 2 to 3 times the size of the filters we get. That sucks?
