Ok I don't have it back yet, but my dealer called. They said they found the problem. It was a 'hood hinge' that was rattling on mine. They're overnighting one tonight and should have it ready tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm still driving the tank....er....durango. I will keep you guys posted once mine comes back to let you know if the rattle we all know and hate is gone.

 

I have it back now. I tried to hear it. Even strained and listened as I drove. Nothing. I guess you all should tell your dealers to check the hinges. That's what it was on mine.

I'm making an appointment in the morning! I just got back from a client who's an hour from here... and I just can't stand that noise anymore! It's driving me crazy. Imagine, I bought this car partly 'cause I enjoy the sound of it so much....
