My plans are to port the hell out of the intake side of the head, bore the TB at least 5mm over, port the exhuast but only on the outer rim not on the vlvs, header with a little bigger runners, highflow car(helps on the low end and shouldn't really hurt the high much), custom tuned piggyback, slightly bigger Fuel pump, deck the head about .010... and some other things i know to do.

Basically the ideas are out there... putting them together and making a viable platform is where the real challange comes in. You'll need a programble fuel management system. The Emanage would be fine... no need for timing/boost/etc harnesses.

I'm not really feelin the need for a cam... the MIVEC seems to keep things in order perfectly. I would like to see some lightened pulleys and maybe even underdrives. A pure dream would be to see the Velocity stack stile intake but i don't see that one happening anytime soon.

If you've ever hooked up a scan tool and watched the ralliart on it you'd see some of the sweetest timing curves you could ever imagine. Also the blend between MIVEC/timing/fuel is just amazing...

Making a car put out equal hp/tq is truelly unique on a 4 cylinder. Usually you either lose hp to gain tq or gain hp and lose tq on these motors. The way the car takes to mods is another amazing feat.

Boe I think 190WHP is very optimistic #'s . I think 175whp with race gas and using SCC mag dyno may be on target. The most I've seen my car is 150whp dynojet with CAI and axleback. Stock was 140.3.. 200whp would yield 14.2-13.9 with drag radials and weight reduction..

[QUOTE=Boeturbolancer]I believe... don't quote me on this... they did the tune running race gas but the first few pulls they tuned it for a 91 compatible AFR. Doing that resulted in a little over 190whp. Leaning it out for the race gas gave them the 202whp. Not a huge gain but for NA it is considerable.

So what would you get modded on the piggyback? just custom tuned for atmosphire? or other stuff?. I wish there was someone local who knew all this stuff, don't think theres anyone that does specific tunning to mitsu cars around here. guess anyone could, but I would prefure someone to have experiance

Screw it... i give up. Be slow or go buy a turbo. There is just no helping some and my reputation for doing the impossible or acheiving higher than anyone just doesn't hold up anymore.

Thanks for all the people who assisted and listened to my advice... not only did i help you out but you helped me keep coming back to this board day after day. I've sold my stuff and i'm going into retirement from this board.

Ralliart guys... stick with RRM or be slow is my philosophy. I would say thanks to some Ralliart guys but i've been getting ridiculed just as badly as i did when i first came on this board and said the lancer will beat an evo some day.

Evo guys... some of you doubt and some don't believe... i've almost always got a huge amount of respect from you guys and as i've said before... your cars are sweet. Good luck as they are becoming the most powerful beasts on the road slowly but surely.

boe dont let a few a$$holes get to you. if you noticed, most of the people talking **** are the same handfull. I bet they all really drive legacy's Really though, people here really do appreciate you help and enjoy watching the progress. I REP saw he same **** and it would be sad to see 2 good members go in the same week.

and for those who have a habit to keep things negative, i think its more interesting to test our car's limits, not to predict them. even if someone is ambitions, its no use totally refuting them if you havnt tried it yourself!

no ones even talking **** though, they're just expressing their opinion, and you cant really suppress that. if you make a comment just expect everyone else to have an opinion on it, no big deal.

poca, true. 'talking ****' was a bad way of phrasing it. having doubts is fine, but its just plain good manners to try to justify them. even better to ask some questions (even if u know the answer) to find common ground. because one car /w 2 mods doesnt do what another that has more mods and custom race tunning does, doesnt mean that the results dont add up.

He actually does have the downpipe, but he has had some problems since putting the downpipe on.

actually i just have a question.. how much money did you spend on your turbo kit/ lancer overall??

in no way am i being mean- but i dont see why ppl wouldnt just save money and buy the evo instead?
if you say money, i'd have to question that.. because i would think doing a separate lancer, then a turbo kit would be almost as much, if not more.. or am i wrong??

unless you like doing it as a project and making ppl really think you have a slow lancer-- but in reality it'll destroy them.. then THATS sweet!

but i think i would pick a cheaper car to make a sleeper instead... like an older mirage!! drop the turbo eclipse motor in there and make it a 400 hp beast!! now THAT'S cool!!!

i found some guy on the net that has one.. i love this thing-- i think it's the greatest machine ever and i keep my eyes out for an old mirage all the time!!

here's his page : www.lilevo.com
