Possible to get 250WHP w/ that kinda work? I'm asking b/c I have a friend w/ a 350Z and I think it would be AWESOME to not tell him and then school him at the track! I'd LOVE to see his face! lol
Daddy...yeah I am sure the car can see 250 WHP on race gas with some real work...maybe more. As far as the ECU goes, the piggy will be remapped several different ways depending on set-up, but for standard driving, the ECU and MIVEC systems can handle an increase in compression just fine. I havent heard of that causing problems before at least. But the only car I ever increased compression in was a 1gen Eclipse and those ECU's werent the same as these. And dont fear his 350Z. You can beat him with the bolt ons alone in the 1/4. That car is nice but it isnt THAT fast. Get the things that are available first before tearing down the motor and see where you are, tehn go from there.

250 WHP would be really sweet, but even 210 WHP would be cool enough NA. I dont want an Evo for a couple reasons, first is the huge car payment I would have had and the high insurance rate that would have accompanied it. As much as I love the Evo...for $30K I would go a different route. Dont get me wrong, it is an awesome piece of machinery but I am not THAT interested. I ouwld look more Infinity G35 coupe or something similar to that...what I REALL REALLY want is this...

there were no mechanical difference between the Stealth and 3000GT. The Stealth RT was offered both TT AWD and DOHC NT FF. Basically a 3000GT SL or VR4. The big difference between teh 2 cars was that the Stealth line of car had a lower model that included a SOHC motor that I dont believe was offered in the mitsu lineup.
