I've been thinking about one because the ralliart shocks the living crap out of me everytime I get out of the car.

You build up a static charge as you slide off the seat, and discharge it to the door when you touch it to close it. It has nothing to do with how well the car's electrical system is grounded. Hang onto the metal part of the door while you're getting out. Then you won't get shocked.

The reason grounding kits are so expensive is because the wires are almost pure copper (99.8%ish). They have almost zero resisitance.

I found these guys on ebay, buddy of mine has their direct fit kit and its great, gold plated connectors and all, the instructions were really good especially if you are an idiot when it comes to stuff like this. It says its a direct fit for an oz but it works on ra's too from what the guy told me. For 40 bucks, this is a great buy if you ask me.

Djkore: I cant send you a link because its a print-out. I can fax it to you, though, if you PM me your number. I would scan, but i dont have a scanner =[.

As for the ebay kit, that one looks pretty good! Be careful /w some of them, expecially the ones marked 'ralliart' The wires and connectors they use are good, but the grounding plate kinda sux, and thats the most important part. I talked to Marco @ billetdesign.com today. He will custom make me one /w a nice huge grounding block for like $70 /w really nice 4-guage wire and gold leads. I think I might do that, as I cant find parts as good as he has!

I stopped by my local Mitsu dealer in NYC and their selling original Mitsubishi Hyper Grounding Kit for $150 plus tax, I ran out the door as if I had to go to the bathroom
