Yes, but I have seen it done on a high revving N/A, road course, high compression car where it would benefit to be on big cam all the time.

well there is a skunk2 400HP+ all motor RSX, i believe they just lower the vtec, to give it the effect of higher profile cams. or they just use new cam, all ireally know about that car is that they use the K-pro ECU which is fully programmable and basically i could lower my vtec point to 2000rpm and still be fine, but not as a daily driver

I just found the Japan version of the Lancer RA comes stock with HID's I'm getting pricing to see what they will cost, as you will have to change the stock Headlamp housing.

here is my question, is it rpm activated and throttle position, or just rpm activated i beleive its rpm activated cause i get terrible gas mileage above 3500rpm what i would ask is what if you drive at exactly 3500rpm will it switch on and off or just stay on or off what gives?

3500rpm, mivec kicks in, so if you stay below that, ur gas will be the higher 20's mpg, anything above mivec and ull get ****ty gas, trust me... i stay in mivec from time to time and my gas sucks.

As far as it switchin on and off, i dont think it continueous like the specV, or how long it rides to (like to redline or so?)
