how many miles did you get from the axxis pads retro? I will need pads in the front soon (43000miles) and have been looking at the ebc red, but I track the car some and need that little extra edge. Does anyone here know which fades less? That is most important really.

I got about 25,000 miles, and I still had about 1/4 of the pad left. According to everything I've read, you can't fad the Axxis and the EBC's Reds are more for agressive street driving. Probably EBC Yellow's would be for you instead.

I see that EBC is now touting their new Yellow (racing) pads as their ultimate street pad also. Looks like they have changed their formulation and the pads don't need much if any heat to start working. They also say no rotor wear or dusting. I don't see how that's posible. I had just ordered a full set of HPS's or I'd have tried them.

Do you have the RRM slotted rotors? or stock? did you get the EBC's all the way around or just front? How do they grab?

i have powerslot rotors in the front. i'm waiting for my rear rotors from r1 concepts which should be arriving today. i only got the redstuff in the front and using hawk hps in the back. like i said, i havent broke into to them all the way yet but so far they stop very well, alot better than oem.

i've had the redstuff in the front for about a week now and all of a sudden it makes this wierd sound whenever i come to a complete stop. and its not the regular squeeling either. have no idea whats wrong. i checked everything and it all looks fine. gonna take it to a shop to get it checked out in the morning.
