Plasti-dip front end?

Can anyone post a picture of their black lancer with a plasti-dip front end? I'm wondering if it would look better kind of like the evos.

it looks good, its a matte finish instead of gloss, and if you mess up just take it off haha

Did you plasti dip the body piece that runs across the middle as well? And if so, how?

Ok cool, thats what i was trying to figure out how to do. I knew you could plasti dip the chrome grill but i didnt know how to do the middle body piece under the chrome grill. Somebody told me to have it professionally done but if plasti dip works that is alot easier and cheaper.

I had the center professionally painted Matte Black for like $75. Wasn't a bad deal and looks sick. Plastidip works nice, but i live in MN and have lots of bugs here.. so i would have to constantly redo it

Wow. I went to have the front looked at to be painted and they quoted me for 300 dollars.

Also ive read that the plasti dip is just easy as peeling it off of the chrome grill if you dont like it. Does that mess the chrome up and does it seem to stay stuck to the chrome well? And if i you tried to plastidip the actual body piece, what does that do to the paint? If you tried to peel it off or whatever will that mess up the body paint?

I peeled my first coat of Plastidip off my grill fairly easy. It doesn't damage the chrome overlay at all. As for the bumper, i'm not sure how it would affect the body paint. I know the 08's have paint chipping issues, but i'm not sure how the plastidip would play into that

I'm planning to put vinyl on the center piece by next weekend, and will plasti dip the chrome part. If you Want to see the outcome I'll post some pics up.
Or if you end up doing the plasti-dip, let us know how it goes..
