Smoked tail lights

Ive seen quite a few lancers/evos with smoked out tail lights, and my question is, how? Im a total noob when it comes to dressup, so all i really need to know is how, where and how much $ on average it cost ya

amazon, summit racing, ebay....
3 cans will be plenty

1000-1500 grit sandpaper... VHT night shades from Advance auto parts.. and clear coat..

So mask it off (blue painters tape?), score it with the sand paper, paint (suggested # of coats?) then clearcoat?

headlight armor looks pretty simple to use and creates a good effect...was thinking of purchasing it this week anyone have good reviews??

just take the tails off the car, you'll get a cleaner finish IMO...
as far as coats, its up to you. the VHT isnt that dark, so the more coats the darker. let dry then wet sand and hit with a few coats of clear

I just purchased the full headlight armor kit to smoke all the lights on my Lancer when its done ill let you know + post pics
