The scosche kit really impressed me, it was only 30$ on ebay. It came with a harness too!!
The pioneer 4200DVD does not have blue tooth but the 3200BT does. I was debating on returning this for the 3200BT but i couldn't live with the idea of having my ipod cable running in front of the dash. The 4200 fixes that and has the usb at the back, plus it has a bigger screen. I just finished installing my braking switch for movies.





I found an amazing 1$ app call motionx drive. It can be used to upload the map into my pioneer head unit. It works great and its mind boggling for only 1$

I was so close to buying a 300$ add on navi, luckily motionx has a great app I can use with my iphone. Great app, i had only 3 days to use it and so far no complaints yet.

wait, so the poineer unit dosent have NAV, but with that app you can basically turn it into a NAV?

Really digging the look of that center dash piece too, looks a lot better than the OEM piece for Mitsu's nav system. Gives the dash some flare.

 

The Pioneer AVH series are all capable of NAV. All you need from pioneer is the add-on. Which i think is overpriced.

Yes, with this app, all you do is hook up your iphone to the pioneer and you get the navi display. The iphone is used to control it (though the pioneer ALWAYS displays the map no matter where you are in the GPS map)

very cool, does this only work for pioneer systems that you know of? and does the nav have to be capable of NAV? or can it just run off the iphone even if it didnt have the capability

 

^its only compatible with only pioneer and jvc.

has anyone tried this yet? i tried it on the 3200bt but couldnt get video and audio to work together... i could only get them one at a time.

does anyboy know the huge differences between the 3200bt and the 3300bt?

 

i tested the motionx on 3200bt and the 4200. they work!!! My photo's above are actually the 4200. I don't know why they don't advertise it but it works just as good!

 

i could only get the audio and visual to work one at time... how did you display it?

 

I am having the same problem with my 3200bt. Audio and video does not work at the same time. I tried it to stream youtube videos and the result is the same. I noticed the sound comes on for a split second when i connect the usb it and cuts out. I am using apple av composite cable to connect my iphone to the deck. What cable are you using to get it work?

Any help will be appreciated

 

iT USES A pIONEER CABLE. CHECK ON CRUTFIELD.COM FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS. THE REGULAR ipod CABLES WON'T WORK.

 

But as per motionx website, it says u have to use the apple av composite cable. Have you tried the pioneer cable with avh 3200bt to work with motionx?
