Car got keyed last weekend!

So this past weekend on Sunday morning I walked outside to my car to run to the store to grab some food for the Superbowl. My stomach instantly dropped when I noticed the scratches all down my drivers side, on my trunk, and down the passenger side.

Just makes me sick to my stomach and wonder why someone would do this!

Good thing for insurance. There are many more scratches all around the car, these are just some of the deeper ones. Looks like they just started on the passenger side and walked all the way around till they reached the front fender on the drivers side.

But if you were wondering about the car:
- 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS
- 5 spd, Navi, Rockford Fosgate Sound System
- De-badged Trunk, badge-less grill
- Black vinyl between upper and lower grills
- 15% tint all around
- Evolution Taillights
- Powder coating rims flat black over the summer

Pics to come after I get it back from the body shop with some fresh paint thanks to the dumba$$ who decided to key it

As odd as it sounds, I wish I would come out to find my car keyed like that... It needs a new paintjob. Lol I'm sorry to hearit happened to your car which was relatively new. That sucks...

Yea, car only has a little over 30K miles on it, so it wasn't really due to a paint job yet. I am dropping it off Monday next week and am assuming it will probably take a few days before I get it back.

And to put the cherry on top, one of my 3 week old Continental DWS extreme contacts has a slow leak...needless to say it is going back to the tire shop as well to get checked out
