I wasn't including the turbo, obviously. It sounded, to me, like he was saying he thought something internally was different. And if that's what he meant then i'd like to see sources.

From all the sources I've seen, the engine is fundamentally the same.

This is a waste of other members reading time in this thread, I didn't start this post to argue. PLEASE stop talking about it and post UPGRADES for what you have found, seen somewhere, or here that are coming to involve the new RA. period

Ok.
Let's begin. (again)

I spoke with Logan @ Darkside Engineering here in Orlando.
I don't have the money right now, but he is looking to test some coilovers on the R/A. Which i wanted to do but my funds aren't straight yet for that.

If anyone is interested living close by, feel free to send him an email.

If you don't know who Darkside Engineering is, look in the Evo X section and you will see them or EVO L posted everywhere.

We support the Lancer and Lancer Ralliart also.

If anyone needs anything, feel free to send us a PM.

Thanks

i saw this kit and to be honest it's actually a good looking kit.
But I heard that one guy who got this installed said it was a b***h to install.
You got to really know how to install kits to make this one work.

Think it ran him like $3k for the installation and labor.
I would have bought the Evo.

I think if you want to look like an evo, then buy an evo. Where this kit will shine and be a great upgrade is for those who buy a Ralliart second time round when the resale cost is low enough to do a visual upgrade like this. To do it to a brand new ralliart is kind of a waste of money no? wait a year or so and this body kit will do it justice. and Robevo, stop being a neg influence ( ie, dreamers) for those looking to do a little something different to their cars.

exactly
The R/A Co. have dress-up pieces strictly for the R/A.
This kit will shine for regular Lancer owners. The price for everything can be considered from a $18k-$22k Lancer. Not the R/A. Which is 25-31k. That's why i would have just bought the Evo, then. Why look like it when you might as well get the real thing if your going to spend that type of loot?

Well speakin of EVO on the RA 09 thread.....

You know what the RA really needs? A battery relocation kit. Get that thing back into the trunk so we can make room for a nice intake and turbo upgrade.

A 30 horsepower increase, launch control, and a price cut?

Anyone know if TTP got any word on their new RA for dyno time and a base line they got so far?

Eh, launch control would be alright, Ive tested the MR, its not all that with chips. A good driver w/manual would get the jump certainly.

30+ more hp is what I was looking for and an easy way to do that is to move the battery and let the evo tech trickle on down.

But I would like to try the veal!
