See if you can test drive one. That can help you make your decision.

I've got about 600 miles on mine and I would say 100% worth it.
I needed a four door as well and wasn't ready for a 4 door sedan just yet.
I think what you get for the price is unbelievable. Do your research and you should be able to get one for under $26,000 otd. Can't find anything close to that price with that type of engine, trans, and AWD, etc.
I would definitelly test drive first.

$4000 upside down ?! That crazy for a Scion tC. I would expect that on an American car. How much did u pay for it? Did u pay mark-up price on it as well?

Hmmmmm....I never thought it depreciated that much but yea we all made mistakes. But the RA is a very nice machine. If u can afford it then get it if u dont mind taking on the negative equity. I dont think u will be disappointed. I hope u really dont owe that much, it would be nice to have someone else join the Mitsu fam.

being upside down is tough. i know from experience. instead of trading though, i sold mine private sale. i put up a reasonable price on craigslist, much more than trade in value, but still reasonable. the car sold within a week, paperwork done and everything. thats what i would recommend.

IMO, it would be crazy to go upside by adding 30% more to the price!!! This is why so many people are in financial trouble. Buy used if you need a four door now, if not then wait it out a year or two to get into a better financial situation. You must have financed that Scion for 6-7 years to be that bad off. And if you did go that long, you should not be buying a car that costs as much as a RA!! Just my opinion but think about this move, not smart.

Nothing wrong with a Scion TC. Don't they push pretty good numbers turbo'd/supercharged?
