RA with CP-E TBE Exhaust w/ Dyno

New Dyno of 09 RA with TBE.

Peak numbers did not change much ( +20HP ) but from 5k rpm and up the difference is obvious. Alot more power up top now. There are no other mods or tune. This car was completely stock except for TBE.
The dotted line is BASELINE.
The solid line is W/ TBE.

Seems about right for a car with a TBE.

The CP-E system gives you about 24hp more at peak. The real bonus is the 30+ HP and 30+ TQ at the top end where you really feel it. This car was completely stock except TBE. No Tune. Further more, peak TQ is gained at 450 rpms sooner than stock and the HP keeps climbing all the way to redline. The exhaust note is ferocious. Women, children and WRX owner's cry when I drive by. haha.

First Intake prototype will be along later next week. Im excited to get both on the car and then head to tuning. Then its intercooler, piping and another retune.

sorry to bring back an outdated thread, but im finally going to start piecing together my exhause and i've decided that the cp-e is the best sounding exhaust i've heard on the ralliart/evo/anything else...ok, maybe not but you get the point. im just trying to make sure i know what im getting myself into, and the most important part is i am wondering if you (elpoole) or anyone else who may have installed cp-e's tbe have had any cel issues. i know it is an easy fix with extensions/anti-foulers or whatever, but i would prefer a company who has devoted some time into engineering a workable fix for a problem they know will arise with the installation of their product. not just cel issues though, pretty much any concerns or problems or difficulties to report having had the chance to drive the car for awhile with it installed, ie. corrosion on the tips or whatnot, who knows, thats why im asking though. i havent really heard of any major problems, and to be honest, even if there are some minor issues, i will still probably end up going the cp-e route, but at least i'll have an idea of what im getting myself into before i take the leap. thanks

Its possible to get a CEL is you leave it in 6th gear and putt around at 35mph. There is just not enough flow passing by for the 02 to get a reading. Thats true with any exhaust especially ones with poor placement of the o2 using the wrong flow calculations.

Ive not had any problems though.

You can clearly feel an improvement with the CP-E. The sound is monstrous.

I am looking into a TBE as well. I was sold on the UR, but still open. From what I have seen UR is on the louder side. I know they have a mini muffler option but... I want a TBE with a great note yes, but I dont want a system that is overly loud. I dont any more attention directed at me. I seem to have enough trouble keeping the cherries off my back. So my question is how intense is the note? Will it be heard across town?

Thanks
