Launch Control for the RA
Even if "neutral slamming" did work, you have little to be worried about if you did this at a low RPM. Also, it won't cost you anything since you still have a warranty.
At any rate, neutral slamming, dumping the clutch, etc., isn't good on any car. Even on race cars transmissions that cost more than your entire car.

The GTR launch control was not stripped from the car it was updated to include the VDC being on and therefore it is now better and within warranty limits to use on the car. The software update is open to all current GTR owners as well as the new 2010 models. The software update also lowers rpm's on the launch so it will harm the transmission less if at all.
I just want the Super Sport mode the Evo X MR has.

I thought the GTR lost launch control altogether.

Deny everything if they ask. heh. At any rate, there's a very good chance that the ecm/tcu doesn't allow for neutral slamming anyways. Also, a neutral slam will give you a harder launch than power-braking, but of course, not only will it cook the clutch, but depending on how hard the launch is, shock the drivetrain. Still, if it's available on the MR and doesn't kill the trans, then it shouldn't have any problem on the R/A with less power.
SuperSport mode is where it's at.
^ Here is what I read on the GTR launch control.

The GTR has launch control but it voids the warranty. The RA does not have launch control. The Evo X MR does have launch control when it's in S Sports mode something the RA does not have. Launch control would be a cool feature though
