I'm at 5000 Miles right now, already got my oil change a month ago ( mobil Synthetic) and am good for another 2 months of driving minimum......but I started getting a periodic inspection sign that shows up in dash every time the car starts. Any of you out there seen this?

 

Yeah you can reset it by holding in the 'info' button.

 

Yeah, turn the "key" into the ON position but down crank the engine over. Move over to the wrench and hold down the INFO button, it'll say CLEAR, and hit it again. That should clear out the sign.

I had this come up earlier this month, and was needing an oil change anyway, so I just took it to the dealer to get the whole thing inspected. So, after a 38 (WHAT!?) dollar oil change, and some Asian kid going apesh!t crazy in the service department because the retards @ Arnold Mitsu (anyone from mich...don't take your RA, or any car for the matter, here. ) decided to put mineral oil when I already have full synthetic. And..the owners manual says to use synthetic. Idiots. /rant

Ouch. That bites. Hope the car was not too messed up. They hopefully did a complete engine flush before they put you back on the synthetic.
