Slight shimmy and/or vibration

Reaching speeds of 70 mph ( about 120kms) or more I get a very sligt vibration from the steering whell. Its not much but just enough to notice. had just done a full 4 wheel alignment a little over a month ago ( I had a noticable pull to the left under normal driving conditions) and things were good up until a week ago. I have not bumped any kerbs or anything. My tire preassure sits a t 35 Psi in the rear and 34 in the front. What gives?

I have aftermarket rims installed, but I am having the same problem. A light vibration on the hwy, it pulls left slightly. I had done an alignment roughly 2.5 weeks ago. In your case, you should take it back to the dealer, complain about it couple of times, if they can't resolve it, they may be install brand new rubber for you. I had a similar problem on 08 GTS.

Cool. Thanks for the input.

Have the dealer rebalance the tires.

Speed sensative vibration is tire balance 99% of the time

Far more likely to be balance than alignment -- it's also possible to have a defective tire, of course, but that's not likely to show up at 120 km/h, which is almost exactly where most balance problems show up.

I haven't tried with the stock wheels and tires yet, but with aftermarket rims and Michelin Xice2 snow tires, my car was absolutely vibration free on ordinary highway surface to over 200 km/h (I'm sure I have no idea who was driving :-)
