Rattle/vibration

I was just wondering if anyone has a rattle/vibration that happens only in the 2000 - 2500 rpm range? The sound seems to come from the front passenger side area. It sounds like a plastic panel or something that resonates in the rpm range stated before.

It isn't terrible or extremely loud... just irritating at as I'm in that range a lot when driving. It doesn't always happen, which will make it difficult track down.

I'll be getting my first check-up soon, so maybe I'll mention it. Just want to see if anyone has had the issue and can suggest a quick fix.

I also seem to have phantom rattles that I can't track down. I am considering putting dynamat throughout the vehicle in various places to help quiet the ride. Although this is not really a fix for rattles, I think it would be worthwhile.

mine rattles too at certain rpm....its the plastic window guide knocking against some metal surface....some one on here opened their door panel and fixed it a while back......ive been too lazy to do that myself.....it's annoying and the rattle gets worse if I have my window half way rolled down....

its your glove box. The top right doesnt close all the way if you dont use enough force to close it. It went nuts trying to figure it out. I was hearing a rattle that sounded like it was coming through the AC. I opened the glove box to see if it would keep doing it and it stopped. I noticed as I closed it, the top right can decide not to snap in, causing it to rattle as you pick up speed.

Hope it helps. I get easily aggravated by noises like rattling, i couldnt go any longer with it. Hopefully this is what you guys are hearing as well. Poor design imo.

It could be the window track and guide that sits in it for the actual glass. My GTS had this relentless mosqito buzz and it drove me out of my skull until I figured it out. Use some of the black rubber adhesive thats in the door panel holding the plastic barrier in place and stick some on the end of the window track. It will kill any vibrations.
