Anyone know where you can get one, or will fit on our Ralliarts? I know AMS sells a carbon fiber one, but its hella expensive, I have seen a Lancer in town with one at West Edmonton Mall, he must work at T&T supermarket, the guy converted his Lancer to a Ralliart....minus all the performance, AWD....so a lookalike Ralliart, but diff front bumper, he installed the side fender vents from a evo..asian liscence plate, and seat covers, sooo riced out haha....i should take a pic the next time i see it ..but anyways anyone know?

Why would a turbocharged vehicle need a vortex generator?

 

I dunno the Old Evo's had them, I just want it for the looks

cuz it looks cool lol, appearently they put em on the evos cuz it helped the wind flow off the wing better but how it will work on the new lancers,ra and evos i dunno , it just looks good

 

Vortex Generators helped big time with rear aerodynamics. Similar to the function of the air dams on the under-side of the front and rear ends of the Evo X.

vortex generator has NOTHING to do with a car's engine lay out LOL...it creates less turbulence on the rear side of the car.

Actually the vortex generator creates more turbulence which increases the efficiency of the rear wing. It is not at all like the front and rear air dams that aim to reduce lift and the amount of air underneath the car. The difference is decent but not exactly gigantic, we're talking about an extra 100 lbs of down force at speeds above 100 MPH.

There's that Rick Chong guy on ebay that EvoSoul got a vortex generator from. I'm contemplating buying one (it's like 150 including shipping to Canada) if I can convince my wife it doesn't look retarded.
