My guess would be that they don't include that feature because of safety. Think about having pets or small children in the back. Would you want to accidentally put the window all the way down while driving 70 mph with a pet in the backseat? Heck, the wind alone would bother a baby in a baby seat, I'd imagine.
<edit> Nevermind, I was thinking of auto down... I guess you guys are talking about the auto up feature. Still, I'd hate to have my hand in the window when the driver decided to put it up.

Nissan's have a feature with their auto up's windows where there is a sensor that will reopen the window if your hand is caught between the top of the frame and the window itlself. My sales boss when i worked for Nissan would put his hand in the window and let it close. It freaks me out cause it reminds me of that commercial for the European Ford Focus where a cat looks in the sunroof and the roof closes and cuts the head off the cat.
almost any car on the road generates some sort of rattle in the cold winter weather. if they made them with tight enough specs not to rattle at all in the winter when everything contracts, the expansion of material in warm weather would cause everything to crack apart. wait til summer and probably 90% of your noises will disappear
No rattle for me yet and im at 16k
*knock on wood*
But i have a werid complaint about my ralliart... The knocking it makes is signifigantly louder then any car ive had before and on another note, the right side speakers went out.

**CONFIRMED**
That sucks...but I guess it's not an issue if I never noticed it

CC doesn't bother me...I never use it. Too afraid I'd fall asleep and become a "RA-Wrecking Ball".
Drive-by throttle bugs me from time to time. Especially in Normal mode...coasting to a red light > turns green. Takes the car a second or two to get out of the coast/stopping mode.
I drove my mom to work in her 5.7 Hemi Challenger the other day. Used to my car, and I blipped the throttle to "wake" the car up...car lurched forward (no db-w) and scared the bejeesus out of my mom.

Challenger

I was THIS CLOSE -> <- to buying one before the RA. As soon as I saw the RA and took a test drive, I fell in love
I think I have chips on the hood. I have a TB RA, it looks like white underneath where the chips are. Is that right? or do I just have a scuff mark? I'm afraid of making a problem worse by trying to scratch it off with a my finger nail or some bug and tar remover.
--- My sunroof button rattles almost daily and for the whole trip I'm on. It is made of some real cheap plastic and isn't attached very well.
--- The glove box will very rarely rattle, seems fine now that there is a whole bunch of stuff in there.
--- This car doesn't need a block heater, but it would sure help out. When it was -32oC to -36oC it had some real starting issues. The stater actually turns the motor over faster then the engine turns over at. It pretty much just sits there and 'diesels' for atleast 1 minute, dumping tons of fuel in.
--- Weather stripping between the hood and bumper has already started coming off on the passenger side.
--- Turn signal tick needs to be a little bit louder or put the arrows where you can see them. I hate driving down the road while im still 'turning' a corner.
--- The 'leather' looking plastic needs to be upgraded to faux leather (leatherette?) at the least. Maybe something fabric and soft?
--- Battery cover is useless and cheap. Can't take it off cause my intake screws won't come off.
--- Heated seats buttons are in a really dumb spot. They are only there cause it was cheap to do so.
--- The DVD player not working while driving (Though this is fixed now).
--- Rims build up lots of ice and snow causing unbalanced wheels, which makes the car rattle like mad going 60 km/h.
On the brighter side...
--- I've never had an issue with the brakes. They stop in plenty of time for driving out on the road in traffic.
--- Recaro seats are comfy, even doing a 9 hour drive (and I have back problems).
--- Never had issues with my defroster or heated mirrors. In fact I havn't had ice on my mirrors all winter
--- Suspension doesn't really squeak in the cold either. If it does though, it's something normal and expected (bushings getting frozen stiff).
