The ACD settings only change the rate of lockup. They all "lockup" the same, just the duration and rate changes in the different modes.

Snow actually holds the lockup the longest before opening up while turning of all the ACD modes.

We are probably saying the same thing in a different way.

Wow I had no idea our cars could run a high 13 standard. Are U sure was this at a track with proper timing?

I don't think gccruz ran that time stock, he was just talking about getting his best time using snow mode on the ACD...

gccruz correct me if I am wrong, that would be an amazing time in a stock Ralliart!

I have read way too many reviews on the Lancer Ralliart and it seems most magazines give it a 1/4 time of 14.0-14.4 I don't think i've seen a review any higher or lower. There are many factors that can cause that .4 sec difference.

14.6 1/4 mile stock and 13.9 with Cobb Stage 1.

I have to work on the brake launch and my reaction time.

Yikes, that was slow...

Took the RA to the track tonight. No quite what I was expecting. It was about 90*F and humid though.

First run right off the street. Sport auto, ASC off, launch off idle. Felt like a turd off the line.

60 - 2.605
330 - 6.599
1/8 - 9.885
mph - 74.82
1000 - 12.716
1/4 - 15.126
mph - 93.35

Second run after 1 hour cool down. Sport auto, ASC off, tapping gas to keep revs up. Launched much better.

60 - 2.325
330 - 6.244
1/8 - 9.517
mph - 75.03
1000 - 12.342
1/4 - 14.750
mph - 93.44

Last run after 1 hour cool down. Sport manual shifting about 6800, ASC off, tapping the gas again but not as well this time. This launch sucked too. Lost 1 mph on this run. Must have been shifting too high.

60 - 2.459
330 - 6.442
1/8 - 9.766
mph - 73.60
1000 - 12.636
1/4 - 15.072
mph - 92.40

Thought it would easily run mid 14 seconds, even in the heat. Whats the trick to getting these things off the line? I learned one thing for sure. I got to get a boost pill, cable, and gst base tune ASAP.
