question about cobb access port
Bringing back an old thread here, but I did some data logging today and noticed that some of my stft levels were pretty high. I think one peaked at 15 and a couple 12s and 13s. That being said, I have kept the stock filter in. That sound like its dangerous? My ltft was pretty much nothing, but stft was kinda high at times and at relatively low rpms, 2k mostly.
SOG RA : I got the same thing, I log everyday to work (30 mins freeway), and my LTFT is -1 to -3, but the STFT can up to +20 a few time. do you think is because of the UICP? Next week I will use a bottle of Redline SL-1 fuel injector cleaner and see if that help, may be the fuel injector dirty??
this is the respond I got from Cobb:
can definitely see where your STFT are getting a bit high. I would
recommend doing and ECU reset (Go to the Troubleshooting -> Reset ECU
option on the AccessPORT) and also check that you do not have any leaks
anywhere in your intake/intercooler system. That could cause your fuel
trims to be slightly off. Continue to monitor those fuel trim values to
see if they get any better.
The Stage 1 91 octane will have the same mass air flow calibration as
the Stage 1 93 octane. Changing to the Stage 1 91 octane map should not
have any significant benefit to your fuel trims.

Let me know how that redline stuff works. I didnt know we could use stuff like that, octane boosters, etc. ECU reset, let me know if that helps too. I dont have a leak anywhere in intake or intercooler, nor do I have uicp.
