For S.E. Michigan:

Showcase Mitsubishi in Bay City, MI is mod friendly. I usually go to Ann Arbor Mitsubishi for my work, though. The little mods I do have, they haven't minded so far (downpipe, HKS air filter, EvoX Intercooler/UICP). I stay away from Moran Mitsubishi in Southfield; they try to find ways to make you pay for something, and they are overpriced on their services. A new dealer/service shop in town is Wayne Mitsubishi in Wayne, MI (near Dearborn). I've heard a few good things about them. That's all I got as far as the Detroit area goes.

The magnasun-Moss warranty act is all we have to rely on. A dealer can talk till they are blue in the face about how they won't void your warranty for aftermarket parts. Just wait until you throw a rod or blow up your trans, see how they feel then. The best thing to do in my opinion is keep all stock parts in storage. If you need to go back in for warranty purposes, go back to stock and you should have no issues

who wouldn't want to sell someone parts? i don't get the dealerships around here. you have to buy it from them and they have to install it so it's still covered under warranty. so far the prices i got from Waverley Mitsubishi here have been stupid high. I'm never going to buy from them if they jack up prices like that.

i wish i were in Calgary! i'm going down there next year for a wedding and i want to dyno my car when i'm out there.

yep i cant wait to take mine to the dealership for work i cant do myself(Turbo swap- im not to mechanically inclined, kinda a learn as you go guy), i can only imagine what they will say to me. Last time i asked them about CB exhaust it was like the great debate over human evolution with a Catholic preacher!

Just make sure that they torque ALL of your wheels...MAKE DAMN SURE luckily when I got back to Edmonton my front tire didn't fall off, bc when I went to retorque them, the front passenger were all loose and backed off!

mistakes like this do happen but are rarely repeated.
