Car acting up

So i was driving to work and my car was acting funny, when i tryed to go wot in first gear from a dead stop my boost was low like 10psi and wasnt hitting peak boost(sounded like a non turbo car). But when im in 2nd,3rd,4th,5th, or 6th gear the car would hit peak boost and hold boost. So im not sure why any imput would be great thanks.

How long did you have your car? Thats kinda weird you feel like the boost acting up.. Do you have a boost gauge? Probably leaking thru the bpv...

Did it only happen that one time, were you able to replicate it, in any case I have no idea, all I know is this car makes weird noises sometimes, drives funny sometimes, and still surprises me everytime.

I *think* I never hit peak boost in first gear... not sure if its because i dun drive hard enough ..
1st usually doesnt pass 10psi on my RA...
I only see 18psi in 3rd+ gear

not to thread jack but i posted a thread a little while back how it felt like my car isn't hitting boost either, but like in every gear, so i don't know if this problem could be the same, but can anyone post a pic of where I'd find the pcv valve to see if mine is leaking? thanks

i have experienced what OP has, i has happened to me 2-3times, i have full IC piping and EVOx bov and IC. I have not been able to replicate this yet but i will try to figure it out when it happens again. the situation last time i remember was i sped up a little and got a bit of boost, brake + downshift, then after almost 95% stop i start to move and get barely any power then 1sec later i suddenly get alot of power and i end up having to shift really faster otherwise i redline

The PCV valve should only allow air to flow from the crankcase into the intake manifold when it is working properly. Since the air in the intake can be pressurized by the turbocharger, the PCV valve prevents the pressurized intake charge ("under boost") to enter the crankcase. If the PCV fails, the pressurized intake charge will leak into the crankcase, resulting in loss of boost pressure and hence power. It can also force the gases out the rear PCV into the turbo. This is why with some PCV failures oil is found in the compressor housing, outlet pipe, and intercooler piping.
