the reason i say RA is less "track-able" then a GSR is because of the transmission.
I own a RA and I know if i hit the track no **** ill be faster than alot of 96 Civic ... but its the SST that is holding everything else back..

a GSR can get to 330whp easy with bolt on ... and for a RA to reach that .. u probably need some $ on the side in case the SST breaks...

If you're thinking between the two, get the EVO. All I kept thinking about after I got my RA was "Damn, I should have gotten an EVO."

go figure test drive both cars....RA is a different animal than the beast evo.... IF you like to track a lot evo is the way to go...i chose the RA coz its DD with ***** that spanks camaro and mustang and good in canyons and snow the AWD is sweet, the evo is way too harsh for me coz of the stiff suspension and high insurance and by the way both cars have the amazing 4b11T engine that can handle high boost, for the RA bcoz of the complex SST you can only reach 300 lbs ft of tq to the wheels after that the clutch starts to slip but hey for a DD car 300whp and 300 wheel torque in the street is a beast

um. if you let her drive your car, why not get an evo so she will at least know how to drive stick?

that would be an excellent ace in the hole.

douche: "this one time, on my yacht..."
you interrupt him:"my girl can drive stick."
douche:"..."

If you want a comfortable daily driver with some power go for the RA. If you want an all out performance machine with a little less comfort go for the EVO.
Like they said before, test drive both and just go from there.

In terms of maintenance... i know the tires usually go first, but i would get longer lasting ones for DD duties.

The costs i listed are before any delivery and taxes etc... 2011 ralliart in canada:

31798.00 base (no recaros, no hids)
4200.00 premium package (leather recaros, hids, 6 disc cd changer, rockford system, sunroof, FAST keyless system)

why would you regret getting it?

maybe on a track other then a 1/4 mile.

3000 in mods and you're as fast as a bolted tuned evo, with smoother shifting, and no limited first gear ( MR )
