I believe the tcsst is limited to only 300hp/300tq give or take a few. I'm sure alot or ralliart owners including myself would love to have massive power that the engine is capable off but the tranny is being difficult.

As others have said, it's not the engine capabilities that is the issue, it's our TC-SST. Make your way into the TC-SST forum of the Evo X section here, to get caught up. Glad to see another Ralliart owner!

So it's the trans, I thought this new twin clutch transmission would be able to take allot of punishment. Oh well if I blow one up I'll just claim it under warranty and replace it myself, get paid to replace my own broken parts

I still have to pick up the car, we have a few on our lot right now so it's a matter of what color I want and how much they are going to give me on trade in.

One other big thing is also the breaks. If you can replace those + replace the springs to something more agressive I'm sure it will make a big difference for you handling wise cause these car's are not just about power.

you believe wrong.

There are 20 or so of us makingalot more then that. There is no "limitation". Its more of a breaking point with the tranny, which from ams's experience is mid to high 300's in torque.

As ive said many times though, its all in how you drive it. On the evo turbo, you can make 330 ft lbs and 320 whp, which is plenty, and you wont see any issues. Razorlab has 370 whp on a bbx turbo, and hasnt seen issues either.

The trans is the same as the MR version aside from slight tcu changes, and there are alot of 400 whp MRs rolling around, so its quite possible.

I didn't mean that you can only push 300hp/300tq to the tranny, of coarse more power can always be given, I was just under the impression that passing the 300tq give or take a few would cause the clutches to slip, with a stock transmission. But I know that some MR's have upgraded clutches allowing the tcsst to support more power. Anyways I'm very glad that there are some ralli's that are holding good power above 300hp, I would like to see this car really maxed out to it's potential.

I live in Canada, actually central Canada, its all flat with no turns and really bad bumpy roads with lots of pot holes. I don't need fancy stiff suspension and really good brakes. Money spent on something I wont really use.
The EvoX's that come into my shop usually have leaking struts or in need of suspension work. The lowered ralliart's all have leaking struts and the cars get shaken to **** with the bumpy roads.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but are you saying that some MR's are pushing 400hp on stock clutch packs, only with some tcu tweaks, then that's very good to hear.

Well I live in sweden and we have as much snow as you right now and I'm having a blast in it, and I push the car quite alot from time to time. Breaks are always good to upgrade for obvious reasons.
About the springs. You should really experience Swift sport springs. I and a few others have 'em on our Ralliarts and it's not a psycho drop but it keeps the ride comfort and improves handling ALOT.

You Did want to know the differences from the Evo and breaks+suspension are two more of 'em.
